Our professional locksmith takes about 15 minutes to rekey a lock. Multiply that by the number of locks and that’s how long it should take to rekey your house. After we rekey your house locks, we will cut you new keys and all this will be done onsite with our mobile locksmith van.
Rekeying is almost always much cheaper than replacing your locks. When rekeying your locks, you are only being charged for the labour because the price of the lock pins is extremely low. However, when you get your locks changed, you’re paying for both labour and parts.

Rekeying a lock is a common job for a locksmith. If you want to DIY and learn a bit about locksmithing, you can buy the rekeying kits at the hardware stores.
